The TBE Hiddur Mitzvah Mezuzah Project:
Beautify Our New Home and Yours!

Sunday, October 24, 2010
2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Work with members of your family and acclaimed Judaica sculptor Gary Rosenthal to create beautiful fused glass mezuzot for our new makom - and take one home! Join other TBE members for this unique opportunity as you and your family work with Gary, using brightly colored glass pieces* to design unique mosaics that will be fused in Gary’s studio, attached to metal bases, and shipped back to be mounted on the doors of our new building.

We are looking for volunteers to join us in planning this exciting endeavor. Our committee is currently in formation, and we invite anyone who is interested in assisting in the following areas:
  • Publicity;
  • Registration (advance and on-site);
  • Project organization, set-up and coordination, and member  assistance on October 24
If you would like to work with us on the project, contact Katie Block or Marjorie Freiman, Hiddur Mitzvah Mezuzah Project Co-Chairs.

Registration materials will be published during the summer – watch for them, and plan to join us on October 24!

*or color-coordinated paper pieces, to be fashioned later into glass, for families with children under the age of 6
