Limud Youth Groups

Chalutzim (“pioneers”) is our youth group for kindergarten and 1st graders, and it is a wonderful introduction to youth groups at TBE. The group will meet periodically throughout the year for social and informal programs. Activities include games, arts and crafts, stories, scavenger hunts and holiday projects. Chaverim (“friends”) is our youth group for 2^nd and 3rd graders. Events are held periodically throughout the year and include social activities, games, arts and crafts, holiday programs and community service projects. Some past events have included tie-dying and Tu B’shevat and Passover parties. At Chaverim events students have the opportunity to hang out with temple friends and make new friends too. Yedidim (“good friends”), our 4th-5th grade youth group, meets periodically throughout the year for social gatherings, social action projects, trips, holiday celebrations and a shul-in! Events have included a Chanukah menorah making extravaganza, bowling and Yedidim Olympics. At Yedidim events students have the opportunity to hang out with temple friends and make new friends too.
